ChurpOut 2012 / Namoo on the Park @ Publika

I bet everyone of you heard this event called ChurpOut. Don't you? Headed over to Publika with lé cousin sister for this ChurpOut event on Saturday. There was a small little bazaar, bands, games and all. But to be frank, I was attracted by the word BAZAAR, that's why I decided to go and check it out! I don't know why, but I just love bazaars. So spare me. Unfortunately, the bazaar at ChurpOut 2012 was a disappointment. So let's not talk about it. *sad face* Well, at least I got a goodie bag from this event. *cheapskate mode ON*

This is the only pic I have for ChurpOut because I was busy walking around and checking out sutffs. Meh. Anyway, try to spot Audrey from fourfeetnine.com and Cheesie from cheeserland.com. No, I wasn't stalking them ok. :3

Anyway, mingled around and suddenly lé cousin and myself were craving for dessert. Then I suddenly thought of this Korean dessert shop which located in Publika, Namoo on the Park. We gave it a try since I read so many reviews about this shop.

I find the word Namoo cute. Anyway, I read few blogs stating that desserts from this little cafe taste good. Hmm...

Whoops! My hair a little messy, thanks to the rain. D: 

I ordered this Hottuk Pancake with berries. 

Well, in case you don't fancy berries, you have a choice of chocolate with peanuts or banana and it comes with a small scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Slurrppps!

The texture of this pancake is different than those pancakes we usually eat. :)

Its a crispy, and little too hard as I had a hard time trying to cut it. 

Overall, I was quite satisfied with this sweet little thing. :D

I will rate this 8.5/10.

Cousin ordered this sweet potato cake for herself.

Now, I bet you'll go like 'EWW! I bet it taste bad!' 

Oops! You're wrong! It taste good, surprisingly. I was like what the hell too before tasting it. 

The sweet potato cake is not as sweet as the usual cakes, the sugar level is just so ngam!

It comes with a scoop of ice cream as well. :D 

I would rate this 8.5/10 too!

In case you wonder what's inside the goodie bag, there are vouchers, potato chips, condoms and some durex liquid stuffs for women *which I threw both condoms and female liquid thingy away*  and a little fan thingy. 

Anyway, I think this post is more on Namoo, instead of ChurpOut. Oh well, because ChurpOut wasn't that fun as what I expected. Blah. So yeah... Anyway, at least I made it to the ChurpOut 2012. Hopefully next year's ChurpOut will be better. :D
